Every piece starts with a memory

Ann Weinheimer is a Colorado glass artist who makes wall art mosaics, stained glass panels, and fused glass art about memory and place, from her studio in Wheat Ridge.

The work

I spent years as a painter before I picked up glass in 2020, and I haven’t stopped since. Whether I’m working on a mosaic, a fused glass piece, or a stained glass panel, my process involves a lot of cutting, breaking, fusing, and putting all of the pieces back together. Memory is where most of my work begins: a person, something that belonged to them, a photo, a place. Every piece is made by hand in my studio in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.

Three mediums, one process

Glass mosaic Wall art

Abstract and floral glass mosaics, made from art glass I fire, break and piece back together. Each one is ready to hang as wall art in your home.

Fused glass Art and Objects

Fused glass made in my kiln. Window hangings, wall pieces, and home goods that catch the light and make easy gifts for anyone who loves color.

Stained glass panels

Stained glass panels of flowers, Colorado landscapes, and abstract compositions made to hang in a window where the light comes through.
